Videos Impact on Real Estate Listings

It is a fact that people that rely on the internet to research homes for sale have ranked photos as the number 1 most important element to a property listing. That being said, with the video boom in place on the internet, videos are becoming increasingly important for the user experience…. and I get a lot of agents requesting info about it. Videos will never replace a physical walk through, but they certainly enhance the experience when viewing properties on the web, and perhaps might give you an angle that a photo can’t. An added benefit is the fact that video is pretty easy to rank in Search Engines(for now), so someone might run across a video on a search engine query that previously would have gone unseen. You will probably never close a deal because of a video, but it adds to the user experience and may get you another set of eyeballs. Additionally, if you have a number of videos in a profile readers may stumble across other property videos.
